Your First Visit
At your complimentary initial consultation, you will meet with Dr. Burn and our Treatment Coordinator for a comprehensive orthodontic exam.
This includes digital radiographs, digital photographs, a 3-dimensional scan of your teeth, measurement of important features of the bite, and discussion of the doctor's recommendations for your care.
You will be provided with answers to the following questions:
Would you benefit from orthodontic treatment?
Is now the best time to start treatment?
What type of appliances and procedures will be needed?
Are clear aligners an option?
Do any teeth need to be removed?
How long will treatment take?
How much will it cost?
What are the financing options?
What about insurance or flexible spending?
For many children, Dr. Burn feels it is important to monitor jaw growth and specific teeth as they come in before starting any active treatment.
Our observation program is complimentary, to ensure the best timing for your child's overall orthodontic care.
After the initial consultation, we’ll begin your treatment plan.
It's time to begin your path to a new smile! During this appointment, you will first have the opportunity to review your treatment plan with Dr. Burn, and discuss your account preferences with our Treatment Coordinator. Braces or clear aligner treatment will begin at this time. You will also be provided with oral hygiene supplies and appliance care coaching by our excellent clinical staff.
Then, we will help you schedule the future appointments needed to continue your orthodontic care. Congratulations, and welcome to our family!
